Most —maybe all— of Haywood County’s leadership gather in various meetings today—all the meetings at about the same time. The county’s budget committee meets at 5pm at the Justice Complex. They’ll review bids for new security systems for the jail. Estimates are that electronic locks and security cameras will cost more than a quarter-million dollars. ...
